FEATURES
Files and Context
The Files section is your team's central document hub within each Space — where you store materials that give AI agents the context they need to produce accurate, on-brand responses.
What Is the Files Feature?
Think of Files as the knowledge base your agents draw from. Instead of repeating your brand guidelines or technical specifications in every conversation, you upload them once and every agent in the Space has access to them automatically.
✦ Key behaviour: Every file you upload is automatically indexed, making it searchable and accessible to AI agents across your Space. Agents reference your files to give more accurate, context-aware responses.
What Can You Upload?
Brand guidelines and style guides
Product specifications and PRDs
Research reports and competitive analyses
Technical documentation and architecture diagrams
Meeting notes and decision logs
CSV data files and spreadsheets
Images and visual reference materials
How Files Work with Agents
When you upload a file to a Space, it's indexed so that AI agents can read, understand, and reference its contents:
A Copywriter agent can write in your exact brand voice after reading your brand guidelines
A Code Agent can understand your project's architecture by reading your technical docs
A Product Agent can draft a new feature spec informed by your existing PRDs
You can also attach files directly in a Channel conversation — for example, share a competitor's PDF with the Strategy Planner and ask for a competitive breakdown on the spot.
File Scope
Files can be scoped to a whole Space (available to all channels) or attached within a specific channel conversation for more targeted context. This gives you fine-grained control over what information each agent can access in a given session.
👉 Coming Soon
Currently, files are added via direct upload. In future releases, Complete will support integrations with popular tools to make files even easier to bring in — cloud storage, project management tools, and more.
